Happy Birthday Mina!

I am painfully aware that, whilst Dave Berg's blog describes the healthy weekend ritual of walking on open beaches and huddling for coffee overlooking stunning vistas, our weekend ritual involves a Saturday morning outing for pancakes and lard at Ritter's Diner in Friendship. Still....they are fab pancakes.

After a postprandial walk into Shadyside for coffee and a run around at the swing park on Ivy Street we headed out to Mina Kimak's Hawaiian birthday party in the South Hills. Mark and Melissa Kimak are good pals from the old days and we also caught up with Scott and Sue Harrington and their son Joey. Typically, Sophia joined in all the party games while Adam spent his time trying not to lose too many cool points. After the party we all headed out for beer and pizza which was great.

mmm pancakes and lard sound good to me! Maybe we could start a new tv series - life swap!

The Burgh looks way cool - java indeed, but cooler by far is Sophia - Wendy hasn't stopped cooing since she saw the photo. Adam looks impressive too. Keep blogging.
